It’s been said that Moses smoked the burning bush, that the Book of Revelation was written in a drug-induced state, and that most religions began with mystical experiences enhanced by hallucinogens.
These fringe ideas have found a place at some of the 176 medical marijuana dispensaries that have sprung up in Colorado Springs. But there are also a handful of dispensaries that use religious terminology and imagery while claiming no religious affiliation.

The area around the 67-acre Szymanski Farms property at 10437 Yellowstone Road, north of Longmont, is lightly populated.
But it appears that most of the area’s residents were against the Boulder County commissioners’ approval of Laramie, Wyo., resident Scott Mullner’s request to change the property’s use to allow an indoor medical marijuana growing operation there at some point in the future.

But after the group's initial sitdown last week, the Cannabis Therapy Institute vowed to fight proposed regs, as well as the MMJ law, which it deems unconstitutional. Group member Ed Bruder understands CTI's frustration, but he wants to work with the state to help patients. Here's why.

Falcon now has its own medical marijuana dispensary: Falcon Alternative Medical Supply.
The store is located on Highway 24 in the building formerly occupied by Richardson's Western Supply and Trailer Sales. (Richardson's is now located in another building on the same property.)
Adam Ross, manager of Falcon Alternative Medical Supply, said the store opened in August, and is licensed by the Colorado Department of Revenue and by El Paso County to collect sales tax.
